The Wind Might Change is the first digital experiment created under the ‘Slurr’ label taking an allegorical journey through the depths of depression.

The title refers to the childhood warning to someone in a glum mood: "Smile, or the wind might change - then your face will stay like that."

Centred on 'Smiler'—a figure putting a brave face on, wearing the rigid mask of social compliance—the film explores the experience of being consumed by depression and pulled through the distorted landscapes of the interior self whilst trying to smile throughout..

The work offers no redemption arc. Instead, it documents a descent into a state of existence where the only way forward is through surrender and a resilient, battered acceptance.
